I just posted on the WHAT I'M READING page that I'm reading Robert Crais. This is an author new-to-me! I've heard incredibly wonderful things about him, so I picked up three of his Elvis Cole mysteries at a recent book fair. I'm starting The Monkey's Raincoat tonight. Will let you know what I think.

I discovered Nancy Pickard. The book is Virgin of Small Plains. I liked it so much that I went to the library to get the rest of her books.

I also discoved Steve Hamilton and Loren Estleman. Two Michigan Writers.

Nancy Pickard is one of the first mystery writers/series I read I also have Virgins of Small Plains in by TBR pile; I got a free copy when I went to the Edgar Awards last year. Let me know what you think!
