- After I sold my first 3-books in auction to Avon/HarperCollins in June 2006, my debut title—No One Heard Her Scream—held more significance. Everyone heard me scream!
That goes double for the next 3-book thriller series I sold to Avon in 2007--6 books sold without one on the shelf. I'm living the surreal life--move over Paris Hilton with your get out of jail card.
Pursuing publication since 2003, I received awards in 33 national writing competitions, including my 2005 RWA Golden Heart entry—Crossing the Line. I'm a member of Romance Writers of America, Mystery Writers of America, Sisters in Crime, Kiss of Death, International Thriller Writers, Inc., and my beloved Outlaws—the Oklahoma City chapter of RWA. My husband and I share our residence with an intelligent canine and two cats of highborn lineage.
Ripped from the headlines, my suspense plots weave a tapestry of vivid settings, intrigue, and dark humor. I love challenging a reader's moral barometer with the borderline ethics of my characters and their flawed personalities—dark, angst-ridden antiheroes pitted against unforgettable villains.

- Robert Crais is my latest favorite author for creating his amazing characters of Elvis Cole and Joe Pike—a truly gifted writer that has filled my imagination. Favorites of his: The Forgotten Man & LA Requiem.
And bless Dean Koontz for his gift with plot and characterizations. I'm in love with the Odd Thomas series and Oddie's pancakes. His skill with mood and setting description is unforgettable.
