Hi, I'm new here. I have a blog for my work-in-progress mystery/suspense novel, Hollow Point. IThe plan is to take the reader through the writing process, the marketing and the sale process. The blog can be found at http://acehollowpoint.blogspo...

About Whodunnit

I've created this site hoping to bring together mystery readers.

There's a forum for sharing your to-be-read list; a Group area so you can promote your famorite mystery groups; and a RSS feed so you can post your favorite mystery blogs.

And since I'm a mystery writer, I HAD to include a place for my fellow mystery writers who may be lurking about to post info about their newest releases and events -- I've started a forum where they should post their BSP (blatant self promotion). Their forum is where we'll go to look for author info. The rest of the site is for readers though!

So join in, invite friends, and tell me which authors you absolutely CAN'T PUT DOWN!

One book or two?

I've always wondered how people can read more than one book at a time; yet from reading different blogs, I see its pretty common. Me, I have such a small attention span that I can only do one at a time.

Getting home, getting organized

Jeff came home from the hospital today. Whew, what a stressful week! Now that he's home I need to organize his rehab, doctors visits, and schedule of friends and family who have offered to come drive him to his various appointments.

We're so blessed to have so many wonderful folks helping out -- it's going to give me peace of mind and allow me to get back to work sooner.

Next...time to get back to that manuscript! I think I say that every blog, but I mean it this time. I need to

My biggest fan!

For those of you who know my husband Jeff - I want to let you know he had a heart attack Monday. No symptoms or problems prior to his attack Monday morning. He started having weird shoulder pains at work, drove home (30 minutes away) and I drove him to the emergency room 10 minutes away. He is 56.

Tuesday he had a cardiac cath.

This morning he had open heart surgery - six bypasses (I don't know what to call that--sextuple??).

He's doing remarkable! Already off

Who would you like to meet

I've recently been in the position of co-chairing a mystery conference. My first thought is "who would I pay to see?" So this year I invited David Morrell and Jerrilyn Farmer to be our guest speaker. I 2008 the guest speakers for the Hardboiled Heroes & Cozy Cats conference will by Tony Hillerman and Jan Burke.

What a privilege for me to host these guests and bring them to a public forum so everyone, writers and reads alike, can come and meet th
