I've always loved to read. These days, I read mysteries almost exclusively. Have to keep up with all the good writers out there! I have two cats and a wonderful husband. We live near woods where I occasionally see deer, rabbits, groundhogs, and I've had one fox sighting which was a thrill. Those days are special. I think I would make a good forest hermit.
I have a new book out called 'Thistle & Twigg.' It's the first in a cozy series about two ladies in their sixties, one British and one Southern, who become friends. They live in a small town on the edge of a national forest. When bad guys threaten a privately-owned section of woods, they don't stand a chance against Jane and Phoebe, my hero ladies, who, of course, save the day.
Surely you jest. I have so many favorites. At the moment, I'm absolutely in love with the Dr. Siri series by Colin Cotterill. These are beautiful, gentle reads. On the darker side, my fave is Ken Bruen.
Favorite Book:
Impossible! I'll think of another one as soon as I type this, but for now I have to say 'Bucket Nut' by Liza Cody. A more recent favorite from the past year was 'The Thirteenth Tale' by Dianne Setterfield. Plus anything by Ken Bruen. Is that cheating? :)
