- I love writing mysteries. Like most authors, I began in this genre because I loved reading them. And, of course, still do. The trouble is time . . . and being careful not to suddenly sound/write like Lawrence Block or Janet Evanovich!
I write to entertain and enlighten and have two series sleuths: Bridget O'Hern, who consults with and helps nonprofits, and a new sleuth, Aunt Amelia, a Golden Age sleuth. Right now, I'm writing this from Antigua where I'm finishing up Murder Visits Antigua set on the island in the 1930s. Yes, you're right, research is tough dutry.
