The Forgotten King Synopsis
Robert LaRue is dead! That much is certain. His lifeless body is lying face down next to a display case of artifacts in an exhibit of an exact replica of a pharaoh’s tomb. A security guard is the one who found him while on his rounds. There are no wounds or marks of any kind on the body of the late curator of the Bayport Historical Museum. To preserve the authenticity of the exhibit, there are also no security cameras either. Detective Sergeant Brennen of the Bayport police department is at his wits end and enlists Andrew Knight’s help, to piece together the clues.
This is your chance to join the protagonist of the story, private investigator Andrew Knight, on a journey teeming with mystery, suspense, danger and adventure. You start with Robert LaRue’s mysterious death and are invited to use your imagination to walk through the present and the past. The list of suspects is long and each may or may not be telling the truth. And if that’s not enough, the three main suspects disappear during the early stages of the investigation.
What also is woven into this story is Andrew’s home life. He is about to get married to Megan Charles, a women he met and fell in love with while working on a case. However, right before the wedding, Andrew has to investigate the death of Charles Rothschild in Dover England. You get to experience an English manor and its breathing-taking grounds boarding the cliffs of Dover England. At first it appears to be a suicide, but Andrew knows there is more to it. Unfortunately, he can not finish the investigation and has to return home for the wedding.
Immediately following the wedding, Andrew and Megan embark on a romantic cruise on the majestic Nile River for their honeymoon. While on the cruise Andrew and Megan are drawn into finding the suspects, all of whom have gone on an expedition to find the final resting place of Nefrusobek. They have seemed to have vanished in the Sahara desert!
As Andrew discovers each clue, he will help you piece together the reason for the murder of Robert LaRue. He discovers it more than just a Pharaoh’s curse as some have come to believe. You will find it is something much more ominous and deadly. For you see, the ancestors of Nefrusobek have sworn an oath to protect the location of her final resting place. If that is not enough, the son of an old enemy joins forces with them. He has his own plans of revenge.
The story comes to a conclusion in the pyramid at Mazghuna. It is there that Andrew has set his trap to capture the ones that not only murdered Robert LaRue, but Charles Rothschild as well. Andrew can finally prove what he had suspected, and that is that Akila Ramases is an ancestor of Nefrusobek along with the security guard Bruce Lehner, and Paige Turner. Andrew also brings an end to the plans of Tanner Preston, the son of the man Andrew killed in self-defense. Once the mystery is concluded, and keeping a promise, Andrew goes back to England to set free the man wrongly accused of Charles Rothschild’s death. With that done, Andrew can finally return home.
One says that the life of a private investigator has nothing better to do than to be in everyone’s business. You will discover that Andrew is compassionate, loving, handsome, adept in martial arts, and his investigative skills rival that of Sherlock Holmes. Andrew will help you understand there is more to a person’s words and actions in the pursuit of the truth. However, this adventure is not as simple as it seems and there is the ever presence of danger!
You will discover many things in this story which begins in the city of Bayport and comes to conclusion in the land of Egypt. Things from the past can change what happens to one’s life in the future. Not only that, but also how people from our past can influence our lives at times as well.
Now all you have to do is sit back and let Andrew take you on a mystery adventure which will keep you on the edge of your seat, excitedly waiting for the next clue and help you find the final resting place of The Forgotten King!
